Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials in-process components and finished medical products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) to verify part dimensions tolerances and surface finishes.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality inspections and test reports.
- Identify and report non-conforming products or deviations from quality standards to appropriate personnel for investigation and corrective action.
- Follow established inspection procedures work instructions and quality control plans to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspections.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Support quality audits and inspections conducted by internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customers regulatory agencies).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training in quality assurance or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment is desirable but not required; recent graduates or individuals with relevant coursework are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and basic understanding of metrology concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and consistent inspections.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training in quality assurance metrology or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment ideally in medical device manufacturing.
- Familiarity with quality control methods testing techniques and inspection tools used in medical manufacturing (e.g. GD&T principles statistical process control).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and quality requirements.
- Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment to verify product dimensions tolerances and performance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and consistent quality inspections.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines
