What You Will Contribute:
As an Inspector youll play a key role in ensuring incoming materials work-in-process components and finished products meet our quality standards and customer expectations. Working closely with production and engineering teams youll help identify issues improve processes and ensure products leave our facility ready for success.
- Interpret blueprints work orders engineering specifications and routing sheets to verify production requirements and tolerance limits.
- Perform inspections of incoming materials first articles in-process components purchased parts and finished products.
- Conduct testing and measurements to verify product dimensions fit appearance and performance.
- Perform specialized testing including hardness and holiday testing.
- Identify and troubleshoot print drawing and bill of materials discrepancies.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records including inspection reports damage reports return reports and rework orders.
- Coordinate the routing of nonconforming products for rework or corrective action.
- Investigate quality concerns and assist in resolving production issues that impact product quality.
- Communicate quality findings and deviations to production and plant leadership.
- Recommend improvements to quality standards inspection processes and production methods.
- Verify products are packaged and prepared appropriately to minimize damage during shipment.
- Process purchased material damage reports when incorrect or damaged materials are received.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing quality inspection or related experience preferred.
- Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements accurately.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Depending on the assigned department must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and complete an audiogram test.
