Job Summary

The Quality Inspector helps ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards
regulatory requirements and customer expectations while learning and supporting the teams
continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities will include:

Inspect and test materials components and finished products for compliance withspecifications and requirements
Record inspection data test results and audit documentation accurately and on time
Report defects quality concerns and trends to the QA Manager
Assist with investigations of quality issues and support corrective action follow-up
Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to flag and resolve quality concerns
Follow established quality procedures and help identify opportunities for processimprovement
Participate in daily and weekly QA meetings
Support a positive safe and productive work environment
Complete assigned tasks accurately safely and on time
Monitor lab and inspection supplies and report needs to the QA Manager
Learn to use inspection tools gauges and quality software as part of on-the-job training

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a technical or quality field aplus
12 years of quality manufacturing or inspection experience
Ability to read engineering drawings or willingness to learn
Comfortable using basic inspection tools (calipers gauges) or willingness to learn
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail reliability and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with quality concepts (ISO 9001 Lean root cause analysis) a plus notrequired
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
