At Sheridan Lebanon Junction your work directly ensures that books catalogs magazines and printed materials meet published quality standards before reaching customers across the country. We are looking for detail-oriented dependable individuals who are ready to learn grow and build a long-term career in print manufacturing. No print industry experience No problem. We will provide the training you need to succeed.

What Youll Do

• Perform visual inspection of printed materials for defects that fall outside of established specifications.
• Follow Quality System procedures and work instructions and record any identified defects.
• Ensure that products meet our published quality standards.
• Assist in determining the disposition of suspect or defective materials.
• Prepare written reports and provide timely notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.
• Communicate issues to manufacturing management in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

What Were Looking For

• People who can apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagrammatic or schedule form.
• Can perform math algebraic and geometric procedures in standard practical applications.
• Can read and interpret work instructions safety rules and equipment procedures.
• Can communicate effectively in writing using proper format punctuation spelling and grammar.
• Are team players who work well with others.

Its a Plus If You Have

• Over 3 months of experience in manufacturing quality inspection or print environment.
• Experience working with quality control procedures or defect reporting.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequently stand walk and reach as part of daily tasks.
• Lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Frequently bend stoop kneel crouch and balance to inspect materials.
• See clearly at close distances and have depth perception color vision and hand-eye coordination.
• Constantly use hands and fingers for handling feeling and operating inspection tools or materials.
• Move between departments and production areas as needed.
• Work in moderate noise environments and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) constantly.
