Job Summary

Our client is an established aerospace manufacturing organization supporting precision-driven programs where quality reliability and production discipline are essential. The Quality Engineer will work closely with experienced manufacturing and quality professionals in a machine shop environment to strengthen product and process performance. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to a team focused on meeting demanding aerospace standards while continuously improving manufacturing operations.
Objective
Support Quality Engineering activities that promote consistent product performance regulatory compliance and reliable manufacturing outcomes across aerospace production operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) while supporting compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality requirements and applicable aerospace/governmental regulations.
  • Coordinate internal external and supplier audits including audit scheduling documentation findings corrective follow-up and Audit Program Management.
  • Investigate quality escapes through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPA).
  • Establish and maintain Quality & Inspection Plans supporting Manufacturing Quality Control Inspection Processes Process Control and Shop Floor Quality activities.
  • Review quality metrics and trends through Data-Driven Analysis supporting Continuous Improvement Management Review Presentations and Audit & Inspection Performance Reporting.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Machine Shop Quality Engineering and precision manufacturing operations.
  • Background in Quality Assurance (QA) and Supplier Quality including Supplier Quality Oversight.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) Sampling and quality measurement techniques.
  • Understanding of QMS Process Optimization and quality certification requirements.
  • Familiarity with Machining and Electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with Enovia and CATIA preferred.
  • Knowledge of BAC5114 preferred.
  • Strong documentation problem-solving communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
