Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our procurement department based in Grand Prairie TX (Dallas).

The Procurement teams mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters playing a major role in generating value and supplying to the overall competitiveness of the company. Our team members ensure on-time delivery and on-quality of equipment and systems drawing on their expertise in Industrial Operations & Quality Management and strong relationship building skills to problem-solve and proactively mitigate supply chain issues.

• You will be the focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management and an ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions
• You need to be able to manage the supply chain & quality aspects of the contract being responsible for on-time on-quality (and on-cost when applicable) performance
• Assessing the supplier capacity capability and performance; and contributing to the suppliers development is a key element
• We also need someone who has a comprehensive understanding of working with customer (internal/external) demands being manifested in various forms of communication (Service Letter Agreement meetings conference call e-mails) and utilizing these through the CI process

• Bachelors degree in Aerospace Aviation or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of technical experience in the field of Quality Supply Chain or Engineering
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis E.g. Practical Problem Solving or similar 8D type tools
• AS9100 Auditor or equivalent training
• Team working mindset
