Become a Key Player as a Quality Engineer

You will help the team ensure product and process quality for the Value Stream driving continuous improvement and corrective action across manufacturing and suppliers. You will work onsite with production cells and cross-functional stakeholders (engineering production suppliers and customers) to maintain and improve quality systems. This is an onsite role in Glendale AZ (1st shift).

• Assess quality performance using statistical and analytical methods and report trends and root causes
• Develop and implement inspection plans control plans PFMEAs and quality systems/procedures
• Perform in-house and supplier audits; develop and initiate supplier performance improvement programs
• Lead failure analysis and corrective action investigations
• Prepare technical reports training materials and conduct quality control training
• Apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques to refine products and processes
• Represent the organization during internal and external audits and ensure compliance with contract/quality requirements

Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of related quality engineering experience
• Experience with statistical analysis and quality/tools (PFMEA control plans inspection methods)
• Ability to communicate effectively with production teams leadership customers and suppliers
• Experience with corrective actions root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and training materials

Heres What Else Might Help You Out

• Experience in aerospace or automotive industries (preferred)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean tools
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification desired
• Experience maintaining or improving QS9000/ISO9000 and related systems

Pay Range

$90000 - $94000/year
