This is an onsite role based in Grand Rapids MI.
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with 5 years of experience in end-to-end (E2E) testing test automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will lead testing initiatives across complex enterprise applications drive automation strategy using modern frameworks and AI-enabled testing capabilities and ensure high-quality releases through robust validation of APIs databases and cloud-based applications. This role requires strong leadership Agile delivery experience and expertise in modern automation DevOps and cloud technologies.
- Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple releases ensuring quality objectives delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations are met.
- Design develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and reusable test solutions using modern automation tools and best practices.
- Drive test planning execution defect management and status reporting providing regular quality metrics and test insights to stakeholders.
- Review application designs and code to improve testability automation coverage and long-term maintainability.
- Analyze defects troubleshoot complex issues and perform root-cause analysis across test staging and production environments.
- Collaborate with Developers Product Owners Architects and DevOps teams to define quality strategies and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage AI-powered testing capabilities including AI agents and intelligent automation solutions to improve test efficiency coverage and productivity.
- 5 years of experience in Agile Functional and Automation Testing with strong expertise in end-to-end testing across enterprise applications.
- Hands-on programming experience with Java and/or Python along with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright Robot Framework and Selenium.
- Proven experience implementing AI-enabled testing solutions including the use of AI tools agents and automation accelerators within test frameworks.
- Strong expertise in API testing validation and integration testing with a solid understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectures.
- Extensive experience in database testing with strong SQL skills including validation of complex data flows and testing on SQL Server environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure Applications Cosmos DB and cloud-native testing practices along with test management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies CI/CD practices and DevOps tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps; exposure to Kubernetes Docker OpenShift and Retail applications is highly desirable.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $76730 - $150800.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national state provincial and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini in good faith believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives bonuses or commissions depending on the position and applicable laws.
