Job Summary
This is an onsite role open to candidates in Pennsylvania.
Shifts: 1st (7:00am-3:30pm) 2nd (3:00pm-11:30pm)
A precision quality-driven regulated manufacturer with a medical device focus is looking for a Quality control roving inspector to perform in-process and final inspections across multiple machining cells acting as a floor-level quality resource for machinists and inspectors in a regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections across machining cells
- Support machinists and production teams with quality questions
- Inspect parts with calipers micrometers comparators and other precision tools
- Identify and document nonconformances
- Support corrective actions and quality improvements
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
Requirements
- 5 years of quality experience in precision machining
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T
- In-process and final inspection experience
- Calipers micrometers and comparators
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: CNC or Swiss background NCR and corrective action experience mentoring inspectors quality certifications (CQT CQI Six Sigma)
