Quality Control Inspector

Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift Electronic PCB Inspectorin Lake Forest CA.

As a PCB Inspector you will:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on electronic assemblies including PCB assemblies metal parts plastic components and box-build enclosures.
• Inspect solder joints component placement finishes and overall workmanship using magnification and measurement tools.
• Measure critical dimensions and verify part alignment using calipers micrometers dial indicators and other precision instruments.
• Document inspection results by completing inspection reports and nonconformance reports including reject and rework dispositions.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements IPC standards J-STD standards ISO 9001 and internal quality procedures.
• Support quality inspections across both PCB-related and mechanical components within the EM department.

This is a full-time contract-to-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 35 years of Quality Control experience in PCB Assembly manufacturing.
• Experience working in electronics aerospace or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 IPC-A-620 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Hands-on experience using electronic and mechanical inspection tools such as magnifiers microscopes calipers and multimeters.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and safety practices.

• Active or prior J-STD certification.
• Background in electronics manufacturing environments similar to EMS or PCB assembly operations.

Shift: 1st shift 7:30 AM 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 $30.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
