Quality Control Inspector III – 2nd Shift 27.35hr +1.50 Shift Premium

What You Will Do:

As a Quality Control Inspector III you will perform advanced inspections interpret engineering drawings and specifications and support critical manufacturing decisions to ensure product quality and this role youll act as a trusted technical resource helping drive consistency efficiency and continuous improvement across the inspection team.

• Perform incoming in-process and finished product inspections in support of manufacturing operations and production schedules.
• Conduct advanced and non-routine inspection activities including first article inspections and special quality requests requiring interpretation of engineering drawings specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Utilize inspection equipment including vision measurement systems calipers micrometers pin gauges and other precision measuring devices to verify product conformance.
• Serve as a technical resource for the inspection team by providing guidance troubleshooting inspection equipment and processes and promoting adherence to quality standards.
• Support training activities Digital Data Sheet specification reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review inspection documentation to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and execute containment and disposition activities for nonconforming materials.
• Partner with Quality Production Warehouse and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues and maintain product flow.
• Prioritize daily activities to ensure timely completion of inspections while maintaining compliance and product quality standards.

What You Need

Required

• 2 years of Quality Control experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA QSR ISO 13485 GMP GDP or equivalent).
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings specifications dimensions and tolerances.
• Proficiency using inspection equipment such as calipers micrometers pin gauges and vision measurement systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read write and communicate in English.

Preferred

• Experience with vision measurement systems such as MicroVu Keyence SunPoc or similar technologies.
• Experience in the medical device aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• CMM experience.
• Cleanroom experience.
• Experience mentoring training or providing technical guidance to peers.
• Experience with tensile and torque testing.
