Ensures facility review of mandated systems in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives. Gathering and organizing required
documents for all MTC audits.

What you will do

• Establish periodic and annual reviews of each department ensuring compliance with MTC and customer directives.
• Implement the policy and procedure for the facility compliance.
• Provide training to comply with the American Correctional Association (ACA) accreditation requirements.
• Conduct regular reviews and inspections to ensure facility operations and programs meet compliance with all applicable laws and agency policy. This regular self-monitoring will be separate from any other inspections conducted by other agencies.
• Ensure that quarterly reports on the facilitys activities are provided to the appropriate individual or agency.
• Monitor and control expenditures. Review budget authorizations.
• Ensure that the facility has the staff needed to provide full coverage of designated security posts full surveillance of detainees and to perform all auxiliary functions.
• Required to make regular rounds of the facility to ensure compliance which will require long periods of walking and standing.
• Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.
• Its expected the incumbent will work overtime when directed to do so.

What you will need

• High school diploma or GED three (3) years experience in an adult correctional/detention environment or related field knowledge of program objectives policies procedures and requirements for managing a secure detention/correctional facility excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• US Citizenship or Lawful US Permanent Resident required.
• Experience in accreditation preparation is highly desired.
• Must successfully complete required preservice training.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
