Description
SynQor seeks a multi-disciplined manufacturing industrial mechanical or electrical engineer to work with SynQors manufacturing team to lead quality and process improvement initiatives focused on reducing manufacturing defect levels and increasing production quality levels.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Manufacturing team to identify and conduct process and quality improvement initiatives develop and conduct engineering experimentation as required.
- Develop process and product inspection requirements methods and documentation to support introduction of new products
- Analyze and report on manufacturing quality yield and scrap data to identify opportunities for process and quality improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to the production Quality Assurance and Manufacturing personnel of product quality requirements.
- Drive cost of quality to world-class levels.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Manufacturing Industrial Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity or direct experience with electronics manufacturing such as SMT (surface mount technology) PCBA assembly and electronics systems box-build assembly processes is desired.
Desired Skills:
- The job requires out of the box thinking strong mechanical aptitude and sound technical skills exceptional interpersonal skill detail oriented constructive process monitoring and auditing skills.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks.
- Proficiency with Data Analysis SPC and quality improvement techniques such as DOE FMEA etc.
- Familiarity with electronics industry quality requirements such as IPC-610 J-STD-001 AS9100 and ISO-9001.
