QC Analytical Scientist Group Leader

Laboratory:

• Perform physical chemical and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics
• Run instrumentation independently including but not limited to RP-UPLC RP-HPLC and UV spectroscopy
• Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other laboratory support activities
• Knowledge of cGMP and LIMS

Leadership:

• Support scientists with their experiments based on company protocol method and procedures
• Follow GLP/GMP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook
• Help with organizing and cleaning of lab and work environment
• Follow documentation and safety practices
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Lead team schedule and train employees in client environment
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Ensure coverage and performance
• Performs administrative tasks related to team member growth and development
• Adeptly balance technical lab work with leadership responsibilities
• Foster morale and teamwork

Qualifications :

Required:

• Bachelors degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directly related experience
• 2-6 years of bioanalytical testing experience
• Understanding of industry practices and standards is required

Preferred:

• iCE
• CEX and similar separation methods
• Compendial Assays
• Laboratory supervisory experience

Additional Information :

The position is full-time Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable range of Andover MA are encouraged to apply.
