Job Description:
seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives for our client in the banking domain. - Lead the QA efforts across multiple platforms and applications (both in-house and third-party).
- Define and implement test strategies test plans and test cases aligned with project requirements.
- Manage the complete test lifecycle including planning execution defect management automation and reporting.
- Lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
- Coordinate with developers product owners and business teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify risks issues and quality gaps and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Guide and mentor QA team members and ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices.
- Monitor and report testing progress defects and quality metrics to stakeholders and client teams.
- Support regression testing functional testing integration testing and UAT activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking domain standards regulatory requirements and internal quality processes.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and product quality.
- Continuously improve QA processes test coverage and automation effectiveness.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in QA and testing with 2 years in a QA Lead or senior QA role.
- Hands-on experience working on banking or financial services projects.
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium TestNG JUnit Cucumber etc.
- Solid understanding of testing types including functional regression integration performance and UAT.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience managing small to mid-sized QA teams and coordinating with offshore teams.
