We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer to ensure the quality reliability functionality and performance of enterprise applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer to ensure the quality reliability functionality and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual and automated testing test case design defect management debugging performance testing and test data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and automated test scripts.
- Perform functional regression API exploratory and performance testing.
- Develop automation using Playwright TypeScript Java k6 MCP AI-assisted testing or similar tools.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify document track and help resolve defects.
- Debug issues using Google DevTools application logs HTTP requests/responses stack traces and other diagnostic tools.
- Design realistic performance and load test scenarios including user journeys and data parameterization.
- Perform database validation using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Analyze test requirements production data quality risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Use tools such as Zephyr Scale GitLab Jira or similar platforms for test and defect management.
- Apply testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis Equivalence Partitioning and Exploratory Testing.
- Proactively identify quality issues early in the SDLC.
- Collaborate with developers business teams system personnel and management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing principles.
- Experience with Playwright TypeScript Java and/or other scripting languages.
- Experience with API regression functional exploratory and performance testing.
- Experience with k6 or similar performance testing tools.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge of SQL relational databases and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of test data management and data governance.
- Excellent communication analytical and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
