Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda
• Build cloud-native serverless applications leveraging AWS services
• Integrate APIs with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB while ensuring performance scalability and data integrity
• Manage database schema changes version control and migrations using Liquibase
• Develop automated testing monitoring logging and troubleshooting solutions
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices for application deployment
• Optimize API performance database queries and serverless workloads
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support
• Collaborate with architects developers QA and business stakeholders in Agile environments
• Participate in architecture discussions code reviews and technical documentation
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS API Gateway
• Experience with CloudWatch monitoring and logging
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Experience building highly available enterprise-scale serverless applications
• AWS Certifications are a plus
