Purchasing Specialist Buyer

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Purchasing Specialist / Buyer to join its team. This role will manage material sourcing purchasing vendor relationships pricing negotiations inventory levels and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented cost-conscious and enjoys finding the best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

• Source materials and evaluate vendors pricing quality and lead times
• Request and compare quotes and negotiate pricing and terms
• Create and manage purchase orders
• Monitor inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and address purchasing issues
• Analyze costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet material needs
• Identify process improvements and support purchasing-related projects

• 2 years of purchasing procurement or supplier management experience preferred
• Experience with RFQs purchase orders vendor management and cost analysis
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP systems and ability to learn new technology quickly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated proactive dependable and team-oriented
• High School Diploma required; some college preferred
• Valid drivers license and ability to pass background and drug screening
