Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for leading KDMs procurement operations to ensure the timely cost-effective acquisition of materials supplies services and equipment that support our manufacturing and business operations. This role oversees vendor relationships contract negotiations inventory management and supply chain performance while partnering closely with Production Scheduling Sales and Finance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills a focus on cost control and a commitment to maintaining uninterrupted supply and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Bachelors degree in a related field with 2-3 years of equivalent experience or 5-7 years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing procurement vendor relationships and inventory control.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Experience analyzing purchasing data costs and inventory levels to support business decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing printing packaging or Point-of-Purchase (POP) display environment.
• 8 years of purchasing procurement or supply chain management experience.
• Experience with strategic sourcing supplier performance management and contract administration.
• Knowledge of inventory planning forecasting and supply chain risk management.
• Experience leading purchasing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
