Tata Consulting Engineers USA LLC (TCE) is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design project support procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Supports the plant operations by developing implementing and executing programs systems and procedures for materials goods and services procurement and inventory; logistics and scheduling; waste management; and raw materials intermediates and product management.
Develop and execute the Operations Department inventory management program
systems and procedures including but not limited to the following: ship and receive
(physical and electronic) materials; stock inventory; forecast and control inventory levels;
conduct physical inventories; process documentation; track data; file and maintain
records; generate and submit reports; and audit program for compliance with company standards and local state and federal regulations.
Assist the Logistics/Procurement Specialist with procuring materials goods and services
for the Operations Department. Duties include but not limited to the following: identify
and develop sources for goods and services; generate and process Requests for Quotation
/ Proposals; prepare and fully process purchase requests and purchase orders; make local
non-stock purchases; coordinate material goods and services schedule and delivery; and maintain records.
Develop and implement the Operations Departments waste management program.
Duties include but are not limited to the following: develop and implement systems and
procedures; coordinate and schedule services; prepare and approve shipping documents;
prepare labeling; coordinate and make wastes ready for shipment; maintain high level of housekeeping at waste storage pad; ensure waste storage pad satellite storage areas Tank
Farm waste storage and other department waste storage; ensure compliance with
company standards and regulatory requirements; train Operators on waste program systems and procedures; and audit program.
Develop and execute systems and procedures for raw material intermediates and product
management such as procurement scheduling receiving logistics shipping
inventorying warehousing documentation generation & control data tracking and manage track and report spending against budget.
Ensures compliance with all federal/state safety/environmental regulations and

- Participates in investigations involving health safety and environmental issues.
- Engages in problem solving and continuous improvement on an on-going basis
- Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Analytical - In order to perform the duties of the Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator an
individual must be able to use intuition and experience to complement data and information;
design work flows and procedures to accomplish goals.
Problem Solving - This individual must identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather
and analyze information; develop alternative solutions when necessary work well in group
problem solving situations; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
Technical Skills - This individual should have good computer skills especially in the area of
Microsoft Office Products and NAV. The Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator should have the
ability to read and understand P&IDs and PFD.
Interpersonal Skills - This individual must focus on solving conflict not blaming; maintain
confidentiality in specific situations; listen to others without interrupting; keep emotions under
control; remain open to others ideas and tries new things when possible.
Oral Communication The ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative

when called upon.
Written Communication - Must be able to write clearly and informatively. Individual should be
able to read and interpret written information.

Ability to read and interpret: P&IDs/PFDs specifications contracts
shipping documents and other documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports correspondence and
other documents.
Mathematical skills. Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure
using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio
and percent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products. Knowledge of computerized
purchasing and maintenance systems preferred.
2 years of manufacturing plant experience with preference experience in Chemical
2 years of experience in Purchasing and Logistics preferred but not required.
Associates degree or lieu of degree work experience in purchasing logistics waste management and or inventory management will be considered.
