Job Description
As a Proofreading Assistant at Extract Wellness you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of all written content related to our hemp-based CBD products. Your attention to detail and grammar expertise will help maintain our companys reputation for excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit product descriptions packaging labels marketing materials and website content for grammar spelling and punctuation errors
- Ensure consistency in style voice and tone across all written materials
- Collaborate with the marketing and content creation teams to uphold brand messaging and guidelines
- Identify and correct any inaccuracies or inconsistencies in the content
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of a style guide for future reference
Essential Qualifications:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in proofreading marks and tools
- Knowledge of grammar punctuation and spelling rules
Desired Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in proofreading or editorial work
- Experience working with CBD or wellness products is a plus
