Project Scheduler

Amentum has an excellent opportunity for a Project Schedulerto join our team in ourSpringfield VA location.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our project management this role you will work alongside our existing team of schedulers to develop maintain and analyze project schedules for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. This position offers a flexible schedule providing the opportunity to work both on-site and from home.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience with MS-Project software and a proven track record of managing project trackers ensuring timely reporting and delivering critical schedule documentation.

Essential Responsibilities

• Create baseline and maintain detailed project schedules for IDIQ contracts utilizing MS-Project software.
• Collaborate and work alongside other project schedulers project managers and engineering teams to ensure schedule alignment resource optimization and accurate forecasting.
• Manage and routinely update the comprehensive projects tracker to facilitate accurate weekly reporting to internal leadership and clients.
• Prepare review and formally submit the weekly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables.
• Generate analyze and submit the weekly Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) ensuring all timelines milestones and critical path dependencies are accurately reflected.
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules actively identifying potential delays bottlenecks or risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in regular project review meetings to provide schedule status updates performance metrics and insights.
• Ensure all scheduling practices and reports comply with company standards and strict contract requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: Proven professional experience as a Project Scheduler with advanced proficiency in MS-Project software.
• Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrated experience developing detailed schedules for IDIQ contracts and a strong understanding of managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and CDRL submissions.
• Teamwork: Strong ability to work seamlessly alongside other schedulers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills specifically for maintaining trackers and presenting weekly reports.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Security Clearance: Must possess an active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

Salary Range - $90000 -$100000
