Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in business engineering supply Chain or similar discipline required.
• 3 years of experience working on project teams inclusive of project schedule development / monitoring and risk management.
• Technical aptitude and the capability to navigate complex engineering conversations and support informed decision making across technical disciplines.
• Proficiency in MS office to perform detailed analysis develop and utilize advanced formulas pivot tables reports charts schedules and databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven capability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and drive cross functional alignment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Active Secret clearance with an ability to obtain Special Access approval

Desired Skills:

• 2 years of experience in formal project or program management roles.
• Technical professional experience
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Knowledge of risk and opportunity management practices.
• Experience supporting or developing proposals.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Supply Chain and the supplier base.
• PMP certification or equivalent credential preferred.
• Prior U.S. military defense or aerospace industry experience preferred.

About This Role

The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Project Manager for the Wilmington MA location. The Project Manager will own a subset of a major defense program under the supervisor of a Program Manager and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Program Office.
This role requires strong organization teamwork and communication skills to ensure effective program execution in a dynamic fastpaced technically intensive engineering and manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will be actionoriented highenergy and able to apply strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills while communicating clearly and collaborating effectively.

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

• Coordinating financial technical and schedule performance across complex engineering development activities to deliver technically sound solutions that meet evolving program and contract requirements.
• Driving cross functional technical alignment and resolving dependencies across engineering manufacturing supply chain and customer teams.
• Managing projects in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) including all cross functional dependencies to develop a comprehensive understanding of critical paths and key program drivers.
• Supporting Control Account Managers (CAMs) in execution to a baseline budget ensuring accurate Estimates to Complete and robust variance reporting from all CAMs supporting a subset of the program.
• Coordinate with the internal procurement organization to provide program updates and manage changes ensuring material procurement aligns with established program timelines
• Supporting internal and external stakeholder engagement by providing timely program communications and delivering reliable problem solving to resolve customer issues.
• Assisting with proposal generation and submittal to the customer.
