The Project Manager will drive the planning execution and closure of construction projects ensuring they meet scope timeline and cost targets while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules budgets and resource plans.
- Coordinate daily activities with architects engineers subcontractors and internal teams.
- Lead regular project meetings track progress and provide concise status updates to senior leadership.
- Identify project risks devise mitigation strategies and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor onsite work to guarantee adherence to safety protocols quality standards and building codes.
- Mentor project staff fostering collaboration and a highperformance culture.
- Maintain accurate documentation including change orders RFIs and daily logs.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architecture or a related field.
- 35 years of proven experience managing construction projects of comparable size and complexity.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes contracts and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g. MS Project Primavera Procore) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication negotiation and leadership abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Experience on commercial or institutional projects within the Midwest.
- Track record of delivering projects in the $1M$10M budget range.
- Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
