Based in any US office the Project Manager Technology Operations will play a key role in planning coordinating and delivering projects across the firms global Information Systems (IT) organization. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning through execution testing and rollout for initiatives spanning infrastructure cloud operations networks service delivery and other technology operations functions. This role demands strong project management discipline technical fluency across IT operations domains and the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

This role reports to the Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead technology operations projects from initiation to closure including planning execution monitoring and reporting.
  • Define project scope objectives deliverables and timelines in coordination with stakeholders across Information Systems (IT).
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans schedules and budgets and track progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure network cloud operations service desk and security to deliver project outcomes.
  • Identify project risks and issues and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and deliver clear status reports dashboards and executive updates to IS leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings including kickoffs status updates steering committees and retrospectives.
  • Support Change Management activities including documentation communications and training for affected teams and end users.
  • Coordinate testing validation and go-live/cutover activities for infrastructure and operations changes.
  • Maintain project documentation including charters requirements risk logs and lessons-learned reports.
  • Partner with the IT Operations leaders to prioritize and sequence the technology operations project portfolio.
  • Track project budgets and forecasts flagging variances and recommending corrective action.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with firm policies security standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology operations teams business stakeholders and outside vendors.
  • Support other IS projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure systems architecture and cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or hybrid approaches) and supporting tools.

Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management with a focus on IT infrastructure or technology operations.
  • Prior experience in a professional service legal or other environment with stringent compliance requirements is a plus.
  • PMP CAPM or other project management certification preferred.

The annual compensation range for this position is $160000 - 190000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
