This role manages construction-phase project execution and serves as the clients day-to-day point of contact. The Project Manager is responsible for keeping assigned projects on track for quality schedule and budget.
This role is focused on client communication internal coordination RFIs field dimension verification vendor subcontract coordination production schedule updates forecasts change order estimates job cost monitoring SOV/monthly billing information WIP review support project records and closeout documentation. This role handles projects in the $500K-$2M range.
This is an on-site full-time direct-hire salaried position for their San Leandro office. This role will be in the office about 4 days per week and includes travel to job sites as needed. A company vehicle is provided for job site travel.
Salary Range: $115000 - $140000 depending on skills and experience
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required B.S. in Engineering preferred
- 5 years of project management construction management or field foreman experience
- Experience in a large or multi-project environment and managing commercial projects
- Experience with RFIs field dimensions vendor subcontracts production schedules change order estimates job costs forecasts SOVs billing information WIP reviews and closeout documentation
- Steel fabrication and/or steel erection experience ideal
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong reliability and client-facing communication ability
- Computer literate with Word Excel presentations charts/graphs and project documentation
Software Used:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Sage
- Procore
- Bluebeam
Preferred:
- Steel industry experience
- Field foreman background with project management experience
