Job Summary

Olive Recruiting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a clients project with a multi-year duration near Monroe LA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management or crane and rigging. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating single or multiple projects from initial quoting through onsite management to final completion.

Full- time Direct Hire role
Compensation: Competitive pay monthly housing allowance (provided for project duration)

Responsibilities:
  • Review plans and other technical documents answer questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project monitor costs and project progress
  • Review plans technical documents and address questions related to project scope and timeline while monitoring costs and progress
  • Effectively communicate to clarify project scope and expectations and document lessons learned
  • Plan administer and complete assigned projects across various functional areas such as facilities operations and administration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed project schedules including milestones deliverables dependencies and risk assessments
  • Supervise staff providing direction and overseeing payroll verification/approval
  • Engage directly with clients contractors designers and subcontractors via the RFI/Q/P process to discuss project scope costs staffing scheduling and change orders
  • Conduct pre-project and post-project handoff meetings with the salesperson and operations team
  • Manage project execution by coordinating with stakeholders and using a structured change order process to adapt plans as necessary
  • Prepare project status reports ensuring compliance with contract specifications
  • Oversee on-site activities manage crews and subcontractors and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with the sales team throughout all project phases and assist with safety training incident investigations and equipment or property damage assessments
  • Travel to client sites to oversee and direct project activities
  • Properly document and maintain project files in a database
  • Perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • PMP certification preferred but not mandatory
  • 5 years of project management experience in construction crane and rigging or machinery moving
  • Strong understanding of contract language and ability to manage projects within scope
  • Capable of handling complex multi-phase assignments of varying lengths and challenges
