Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer / Project Manager to support construction projects from pre-construction through closeout with in the concrete industry. This role focuses on planning coordination cost control and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction

• Lead project handoff and review scope plans and specifications
• Identify issues create RFIs and recommend value engineering solutions
• Manage submittals including review of rebar mix designs and shop drawings
• Develop schedules material plans and pour sequences
• Coordinate with Superintendent on equipment logistics and timelines

Project Execution

• Attend project meetings and track progress
• Monitor labor budget and schedule performance
• Manage change orders and coordinate with estimating
• Communicate with clients regarding updates delays and issues

Closeout

• Analyze project performance and identify lessons learned
• Prepare final reports and secure client sign-off
• Archive project documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management Engineering or equivalent experience
• Must have experience in the concrete industry
• Experience in construction project coordination or management
• Strong knowledge of drawings scheduling and cost control
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
