Job Summary
Energy Talent Search is working with a commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager for a large ground-up project in Las Vegas Nevada.
The Project Manager will work alongside senior project leadership and oversee members of the project team. This position will be responsible for day-to-day project management coordination cost control scheduling and execution.
Responsibilities include:
Manage day-to-day construction activities for a large ground-up commercial project
Work closely with senior project leadership to maintain schedule budget quality and overall project execution
Lead and develop project team members including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
Coordinate with owners architects engineers subcontractors vendors and field leadership
Manage RFIs submittals change orders contracts procurement and project documentation
Monitor project costs forecasts schedules and potential risks
Lead subcontractor coordination and ensure commitments and deadlines are met
Participate in owner and project meetings and communicate project status effectively
Identify potential schedule cost and issues before they impact the project
Support project closeout and turnover
Maintain company standards for safety and quality
5 years of construction experience with a commercial general contractor
Strong ground-up commercial construction experience
Experience managing large complex construction projects
Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors schedules budgets cost controls and project teams
Strong leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work full-time onsite in Las Vegas Nevada
Base salary: $135000$175000 depending on experience

Required Skills:
Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. 7 years of accounting/finance experience preferably in a construction or project-based environment. Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting and project cost accounting. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. JDE SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment On-site five days a week at the companys Kingsford Michigan office. Office-based role with financial reporting budgeting and project accounting duties. Regular interaction with finance project management and operations teams.
Required Education:
