Konik is partnering with an established specialty commercial construction organization seeking a Project Manager I to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from planning through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career construction professional who has experience coordinating projects working with customers and subcontractors and wants to continue developing within a highly technical commercial construction environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting commercial construction projects strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with project teams field personnel suppliers and clients. Candidates with backgrounds in structural steel specialty contracting glazing or related commercial construction industries are encouraged to apply.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects including large-scale facilities healthcare office entertainment and other complex structures. The company has delivered high-profile projects including stadiums airports and major commercial developments.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning coordination and execution of commercial construction projects from kickoff through completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients subcontractors suppliers and internal project teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for project communication updates and issue resolution.
• Coordinate project schedules including submittals fabrication timelines installation milestones and deliverables.
• Assist with project documentation including RFIs submittals project logs and change management.
• Coordinate with field teams and subcontractors to address project needs and maintain progress.
• Review project plans specifications and construction documents to support successful execution.
• Monitor project costs commitments and budget updates while supporting financial tracking.
• Assist with change orders billing activities and project closeout requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve challenges.
• Utilize construction management software to maintain accurate project information and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience supporting construction projects subcontractor coordination or project management activities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications and project documents.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers field teams and internal stakeholders.
