We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our construction team assisting in the project management of major construction projects at the Naval Reactors Facility!
The successful candidate with be responsible for managing construction projects and project teams that support improvement projects for the Naval Reactors Facility including defining planning and ensuring execution of all tasks necessary to meet project objectives. Specific responsibilities include creating and maintaining the project team infrastructure obtaining necessary resources to support the project defining project scope and work breakdown structure developing cost estimates and resources loaded schedules evaluating change requests and approving or rejecting as appropriate managing overall costs to budget managing subcontracted relationships identifying and mitigating project risks interfacing with and integrating the efforts of stakeholders support personnel and line management to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Other areas of opportunity include but are not limited to assess project or program performance coordinate support and facilitate project / process meetings support the preparation & presentation of periodic reviews with management and stakeholders recommend resources or skills needed to supplement project core team provide support to new and existing contracts projects and programs coordinate and mentor / train project team members stakeholders & jr. project support personnel.
- Project Management Certification (NNL PMCP PMI or IBM)
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel Word Share Point Teams and Power BI software

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion LLC (FMP) a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory Kenneth A.
