Job Summary
A Project Manager in the project management office will lead and manage projects that involve the design implementation maintenance and closeout of electrical systems and solutions. Your role will require strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices as well as effective cost management and project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the satisfaction of clients.
As a Project Manager youll be at the heart of our projects ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope objectives deliverables milestones and timelines. Youll allocate and coordinate resources including engineers technicians equipment and materials to keep the project on track.
Youll provide technical guidance and expertise to engineering and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle ensuring high-quality outcomes. Establishing strong communication channels with clients will be key as youll need to understand their requirements provide updates and address any concerns. Additionally youll monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure we stay within financial targets.
This is role is hybrid for Rhode Island area.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university;
- Previous experience in electrical engineering project management or a related role
- Experience with electrical utilities electrical system design installation and maintenance projects
- Transmission line and Substation experience preferred
- Cost Analyst experience in examining and interpreting financial data auditing upon close out and providing detailed summation preferred.
- 6 years experience or greater or 3 years experience plus PMP
- Curious and active listener:You have a deep hunger to learn coupled with a willingness to think outside the ask a lot of recognize there is a difference between hearing and listening.

Benefits & Salary:
- This position pays between $120000 and $140000 annually and is an exempt position.
- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical dental vision and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement voluntary life disability critical illness accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
- Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
- May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
