JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for planning directing coordinating activities and leading cross-functional strategic initiatives while working with the business to follow best practices to ensure their projects meet business objectives and are accomplished on time and within budget. This role helps ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.

This position may be onsite or remote.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support Program Manager and leadership to plan track and manage projects to support the needs of the business.

  • Act as a business partner to directly or indirectly lead cross-functional teams to execute on project tasks to include effective creation and management of timelines budgets resources risks interdependencies and project objectives.

  • Follow established project management practices including management of scope requirements issues and risks.

  • Consult with project sponsors and reviews project proposals to determine goals time frame funding allotment of resources and procedures for accomplishing projects.

  • Direct and coordinate responsibilities and scope of authority to team members.

  • Troubleshoot problems associated with coordination development or design of projects.

  • Escalate issues when critical risks arise and maintain pulse with project activities to ensure progress.

  • Monitor and prepare status reports on project deliverables and any deviation from project plan.

  • Advises on the right level of governance by project and program.

  • Coach and facilitate teams on project management processes tools and techniques such as process maps value stream maps and root cause analyses.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and team members.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple competing priorities within and across multiple projects at the same time.

  • Demonstrated success with oral and written communications/presentations influence and persuasion results orientation facilitation and teamwork skills across multiple audiences.

  • Ability to work within a matrix management organization.

  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability innovation integrity quality and teamwork.

  • Support and comply with the companys Quality Management System policies and procedures.

  • Regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work designated schedule.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device tablet or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

  • Ability and means to travel between local locations.

  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or High School Degree/General Education Degree and 4 additional years of experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelors Degree.

  • 5 years of progressive broad-based project experience.

  • 3 years leading projects or teams.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate as a part of a team and operate independently across projects based on project complexity and needs.

  • Proficiency with MS Project MS Visio Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI Project Management Certification.

  • Experience working in human resources.

The base pay for this position is

$61300.00 $122700.00

In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
