Project Manager

Job Summary
- Lead all phases of assigned projects from kickoff to closeout ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Define scope deliverables schedules and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate with engineering field services subcontractors and clients to ensure project alignment
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance from both a technical and commercial perspective
- Interpret customer requirements and convert them into actionable project plans
- Oversee technical accuracy regulatory compliance and quality of project execution
- Track progress identify risks and implement contingency plans as needed
- Monitor subcontractor performance and issue RFPs as applicable
- Provide clear and consistent communication across internal and external teams
- Drive process improvements and promote PMO best practices
- Own project outcomes and ensure alignment with RMS Energys high standards
- Perform engineering reviews initiate corrective actions and support technical troubleshooting
- Assist with forecasting reporting and PMO documentation
- Ensure field implementation meets all safety standards and regulatory requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience in project management
- Experience in commercial or industrial power systems is highly preferred
- PMP certification or NETA 2/3/4 preferred
- Familiarity with electrical systems substations switchgear and control/protection upgrades
- Skilled in Microsoft Project and the MS Office Suite
- Strong leadership organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proven communication skills with internal teams subcontractors and external clients
- Understanding of the power industry landscape EPC relationships and service execution
- Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and technical disciplines
- Willingness to travel up to 30% across the continental U.S.
- Bachelors degree in engineering business or related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid and current drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment/random drug tests
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Comfortable visiting field sites with varied temperatures (20100F) noise levels and PPE requirements
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and sit or work at a computer for extended periods
- Requires good vision hearing and English proficiency for safe effective communication in noisy environments
- Prior experience with relay upgrades switchgear retrofits commissioning or protection/control projects
- Familiarity with NETA standards OSHA guidelines and PMO methodologies
- Working knowledge of installation testing and retrofitting of electrical distribution systems
