Job Description

Key Search Titles: Project Manager Program Manager Automation PM Machine Build PM
Core Experience: Custom machine design/build/startup 2 to 5 years preferred
Technical Must-Haves: SolidWorks or CAD proficiency MS Project MS Excel
Welding/Process Knowledge: GMAW GTAW PAW laser welding/cutting plasma cutting (big plus)
PM Skills: Gantt chart development milestone tracking budget/margin management change order pricing and negotiation
Soft Skills: Customer-facing communication contract negotiation cross-functional team coordination
Education: BSME preferred; BSEE or equivalent technical degree considered with strong experience
Travel: 15% mostly to customer sites and suppliers
Search Keywords: custom automation special purpose machinery machine build PM project margin change notice factory automation assembly equipment controls integration customer liaison
Industries to Target: Industrial automation custom machine builders welding systems packaging equipment assembly automation
