Project Engineering Manager

Our client a food manufacturing organization based in Nashville Tennessee is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead capital and facility improvement projects across their operations. This is a retained search conducted by Transparent Search Group on behalf of the company. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside the Nashville area.

• Plan manage and execute capital improvement and facility expansion projects from concept through commissioning
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations maintenance quality and external contractors
• Develop project scopes schedules budgets and resource plans
• Ensure all projects comply with food safety regulations GMP standards and applicable codes
• Evaluate and select engineering vendors contractors and equipment suppliers
• Track project milestones and report status to senior leadership
• Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes and infrastructure

• Background in food manufacturing is required
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
• Working knowledge of food safety standards GMP and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
• Experience managing external contractors and cross-functional internal teams
