What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with a crossfunctional team of experts including Project Design Structures Aero Systems Manufacturing Quality and Industrial Engineering
• Partner closely with the Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organization to ensure seamless integration between engineering and manufacturing driving efficiency and innovation in production processes
• Resolve manufacturing challenges and address producibility issues with part producers and suppliers to ensure ontime delivery of spare parts and hardware that supports fleet sustainment and schedule requirements
• Plan acquire and manage budgets for Integrated Product Team (IPT) tasks applying core Project Engineering skills such as task planning tracking and earned value management (EVMS)
• Communicate with internal and external customers providing clear timely updates on task status and technical content to the IPT and Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT)
• Interface directly with engineering management program management suppliers and customers to drive execution and achieve program objectives
• Gain exposure to project management frameworks including Agile Kanban and Waterfall
• Travel up to 10% to supplier locations supporting F119 spares production
• This position requires regular walking and standing while working on the manufacturing floor with the ability to move through production areas safely

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 2 years of relevant engineering experience
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage and execute multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in AGILE Confluence Jira and SAP
• Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)

Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design development and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.

Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering Mechanical Design Structural Analysis and Product Definition.

This position is classified as:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
