Position Summary
Anchor Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of heavy civil construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers field teams subcontractors and clients to keep projects safe organized on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Support project planning scheduling documentation and contract administration
Manage submittals RFIs permits and project closeout documents
Track quantities invoices project costs and production progress
Coordinate with field crews superintendents subcontractors and vendors
Conduct site visits to ensure quality compliance and safety standards
Assist with change orders project reporting and project meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field preferred
2 years of Project Engineer experience (or 6 years of relevant construction experience)
Heavy civil construction experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 and AutoCAD experience a plus
Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
Valid driver license required
