The Role:
Every successful construction project runs on execution coordination and attention to detail. As a Project Engineer youll help drive projects from preconstruction through closeout by managing documentation tracking project information coordinating with vendors and trade partners and ensuring the team has the information needed to keep work moving forward.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their construction management career who wants exposure to the full project lifecycle and a clear path toward Project Manager advancement. Based on the job specification the role supports project administration submittals documentation vendor coordination and change management activities.
What Youll Do
Manage and track submittals shop drawings samples RFIs and related project documentation
Maintain project files drawings specifications contracts bid packages and as-built records
Coordinate information between project teams consultants vendors and subcontractors
Assist with pricing requests estimates proposals and change order documentation
Support project controls and help ensure critical project information is accurate and up to date
Partner closely with Project Managers Superintendents and Project Accountants to keep projects moving forward
Monitor deadlines and support project reporting compliance and document management activities
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Building Construction or a related field preferred
Internship or professional experience supporting commercial multifamily mixed-use institutional or residential construction projects
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
A proactive mindset and desire to grow into larger project leadership responsibilities
