Job Summary
PTS Advance is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Controls Scheduler to support the Engineering Department in the planning development and execution of capital and expense projects. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules while supporting project controls best practices including planning and scheduling forecasting earned value management (EVM) progress measurement and change management throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate with Engineering Operations Maintenance Construction and Contractors to ensure projects are executed safely efficiently on schedule and within approved budgets.
Pay: No Per DiemBase $50-$85/hr
Start: Immediately
Finish: 1 year assignment for ALL contractor positions / Extension based on business needs
Preferred Candidate: Experienced ideally from nearby Oil & Gas Project Controls Accounting or Engineering Firm
Degree: Strongly preferred unless matched with extended industry experience
Schedule: 9-80 - 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM & every other Friday
Experience in Engineering Project Firm with Project/Cost Controls (e.g. Worley/Fluor/Eichleay/Hargrove etc.)
Experience in Budget / Actual / Forecast / Accouting Accrual
Experience with advance Excel and SAP Work Breakdown Structure
Exposure/familiarity with Engineering estimate would be a plus
Or
Experience in Engineering Project Firm with Project/Cost Controls
Experience in Scheduling P6 Primavera
Experience in Project Management with Project gates.
Exposure/familiarity with Turnaround schedule would be a plus
