Role Overview
The Project Administrator supports construction Project Management staff with administrative duties and promotes a team environment on large project sites. The role handles onboarding and badging for site personnel maintains timecards and manpower lists and keeps project logs meeting minutes and document files current and accurate.
Working alongside Project Managers and Foremen the Project Administrator distributes drawings specifications and correspondence to field personnel and key parties manages calendars and schedules and coordinates meetings and programs both on and off site.
Core Responsibilities
- On-boards new employees and manages the New Contractor Orientation badging process for all employees.
- Organizes distributes collects and maintains timecards for all site personnel.
- Maintains manpower lists for the project.
- Assists Project Managers and Foremen in tracking and creating field daily reports.
- Updates takes and tracks meeting minutes.
- Updates project logs.
- Creates and files electronic and hard copy files for each construction project.
- Sets up key party contact directories.
- Reviews and distributes documents and correspondence to field personnel and other key parties.
- Copies and distributes specifications and drawings to field personnel and other key parties.
- Manages calendars and schedules.
- Arranges meetings conferences and programs on and off site.
Required Background
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of administrative support experience construction environment preferred
- Solid organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good prioritization skills
- Solid Microsoft Suite skills including Word and Excel
- Good customer service skills
