Goddard House isseeking a patient innovative programmer who is creative friendly compassionate and organized to assist the Program Director in creating scheduling and implementing programs for our residents.

Rates start at $20 per hour

- Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week;
- Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers musicians and fitness instructors;
- Participatein scheduled outings ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
- Support with developing monthly newsletter taking photos and updating social media
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Associates or Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation Education Social Work or related field preferred. Must have 1 years experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimers populations.
- Physical requirements: Standing sitting bending and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
- Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
- Punctuality & reliability Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
