- Pay Rate: $16.00$35.62 / Hour (USD)

This role is responsible for securing permits required for work within the public right-of-way to support the installation maintenance and operation of utility facilities. The position regularly coordinates and communicates with internal departments government agencies municipalities and other external stakeholders to obtain approvals ensure compliance with permitting requirements and negotiate favorable permit conditions. The position serves as a key liaison throughout the permitting process helping facilitate timely project execution while maintaining positive working relationships with regulatory and permitting authorities.
- Work with local agencies (Cities Counties Caltrans) to acquire construction permits within public ROW
- Monitors and updates permit statuses approvals and expiration dates
- One or more years of experience reviewing and interpreting construction drawings plans maps and/or designs
- Experience working within construction timelines and with various construction personnel and clients
- Familiarity with building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel Access and SharePoint
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
