Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Drive the product vision and strategy for last mile delivery optimization tools
Collaborate with data scientists to translate complex algorithms into user-friendly products
Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders across Amazons global operations
Work closely with engineering teams to develop and launch new features and products
Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to guide continuous improvement
Create and maintain product roadmaps balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals
Communicate product updates and value propositions to internal teams and leadership
A day in the life
We are Amazons Last Mile Science and Analytics team dedicated to improving e-commerce delivery. We work to optimize our vast network forecast demand using machine learning and enhance route efficiency. Our efforts focus on developing innovative delivery methods applying AI to solve complex problems and conducting geospatial analysis. We create simulations to refine processes and plan capacity effectively. Operating globally we strive to develop adaptable solutions for diverse markets. We aim to advance logistics science continually improving speed efficiency and customer satisfaction in support of Amazons mission to be Earths most customer-centric company.
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
