Main Purpose of Job

The Program Manager II position for the IID Support Services Unit provides strategic vision and full executive oversight for the expanded Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) Support Services Unit. This role directs all administrative operational and technical support functions for IID and shares information to the DPSCS Office of the Secretary leadership and other State and Federal agency leaders. Manages critical resources ensuing legal compliance and maintaining agency-wide data integrity

POSITION DUTIES

The Program Manager II position for the IID Support Services Unit provides strategic vision and full
executive oversight for the expanded Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) Support Services
Unit. This role directs all administrative operational and technical support functions for IID and
shares information to the DPSCS Office of the Secretary leadership and other State and Federal
agency leaders. Manages critical resources ensuing legal compliance and maintaining agency-wide
data integrity.

Personnel & Leadership Oversight
Strategic Planning/Development Policy Compliance Audit Oversight and Data Analytics
Makes Critical Decisions and Recommendations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology

Experience: 7 Years of experience managing law enforcement support services staff

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience managing the DPSCS Law Enforcement Records Management System (RMS)

2. Experience managing Maryland Public Information Act (PIA) Requests and (MPIA) Requests

LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

This recruitment is limited to current DPSCS Intelligence & Investigative Division employees.

LICENSES REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland.

Personal Leave - new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date)
