Program Manager Energy Efficiency Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Program Manager - Energy Efficiency for a hybrid position (minimum three days per week in office or in the field) with a Major Utility Company located in Newark NJ. This is a contract opportunity.

This role provides program management oversight for Multifamily energy efficiency projects ensuring compliance with scope schedule and budget. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain implementation processes interface with associates vendors and customers and apply knowledge of energy savings measures to ensure project success and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with approved requirements
• Interface with company associates vendors customers and outside consultants to assure program rules and requirements are maintained and projects are cost effective
• Develop and customize customer project proposals to maximize incentives and energy savings
• Coordinate and direct the activities of business development trade allies and vendors
• Review vendor deliverables monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices
• Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required
• Perform project site visits as required
• Compile and analyze data from various projects to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management
• Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices

Requirements:

• B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs construction or related fields OR in lieu of a degree 9 years of experience in a related field
• Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend
• Knowledge of energy efficiency measures implementation and cost
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel & MS Word)
• Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail
• Able to travel within the clients service territory to conduct meetings perform inspections and manage relationships with contractors
• Valid US drivers license

Pay range: $68.89 - $78.89 per hour
