Program Assistant (Welcome Center Coordinator)

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position oversees the daily operations of the Undergraduate Admissions Welcome Center and coordinates the daily tour program for prospective students. Updates prospective students onapplication status missing application materials and any additional inquiries regarding student admission. Coordinates individual meetings for prospective students and academic departments during campus visits prepares material for major visits events such as open houses overnight visits for accepted students registration events and others. Gives directions to visitors to Sherman hall and provides customer service to all campus visitors.

APPOINTMENT: As soon as possible

HOURLY WAGE: $16.19-$17.80 (Anticipated Starting Wage of $16.19)

WIU Intercollegiate Athletics

The Universitys athletics program based on the Macomb campus sponsors 17 NCAA Division I intercollegiate mens and womens varsity sports. All varsity sports compete at the Division I level through The Ohio Valley Conference.
