Job Summary

Provides facility support for the Programs daily operations. Also provides clerical and administrative support as needed. Provides assistance to the program and clients by running errands in the community and assisting with client transportation.

Residential programs are required to be operational 24 hours a day 365 days per year including all CRF recognized holidays. Given this requirement employees are expected to work on all CRF recognized holidays depending on staffing needs as scheduled.


Hours: 24 hours per weeks; Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

As a Program Aide you will:

  • Provide facility support for the Programs daily operations.
  • Complete errands such as grocery shopping and program purchases in accordance with Program procedures.
  • Assist with menu development for client meals.
  • Assist with client transportation.
  • Keep in close contact with Clinical Team.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Program Director Assistant Director and other staff members as requested.
  • Assist with special projects as designated by the Program Director Assistant Program Director and other staff members as requested.

Our Crisis Centers are Short Term Acute Residential Treatment (START) programs (Del Sur Crisis CenterEsperanza Crisis Center Halcyon Crisis Center Hawthorne Crisis Center Jary Barreto Crisis Center New Vistas Crisis Center andTurning Point Crisis Center) that provide intensive community-based crisis residential services for adults throughout San Diego County. They deliver a unique alternative to psychiatric hospitalization to clients who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis of such magnitude so as not to be manageable on an outpatient basis. Their services are provided in a home-like environment that specializes in the psychosocial rehabilitation of each individual.

CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego Countys residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges. Education: High School diploma/GED required

Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with mental health services preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is required and must be kept current during employment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • This program is housed in a two-story building that does not have an elevator. Ability to navigate stairs is required.
  • A valid California drivers license in good standing and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this addition proof of insurance is required prior to driving personal vehicles on company business.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
