This is a 1.0 FTE position. Training is required between the hours of 8am 5pm Monday Friday. Once fully trained there is additional schedule flexibility that will be discussed in the interview. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position is hybrid and may require periodic onsite work. When on site you will work at 7974 UW Health Madison WI.

We are seeking a Professional Reimbursement Representative to:
Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances.
Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required.

No minimum education required.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Associates Degree in Business Finance Health Information Management or related field preferred
1 year of experience in an insurance finance medical hospital or customer service-related field required
Revenue Cycle (healthcare business financial or insurance) experience.
Epic experience
Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology CPT ICD coding structures and billing forms (UB 1500)
