Production Wrapper 1st shift

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Monitor the flow of products on an average waist-high conveyor while stacking products in the correct quantities for further processing in the wrapping machine.
• Monitor and adjust wrapping machine speed to ensure efficient production and continuous product flow.
• Operate and maintain centerline settings to ensure product quality efficiency and production standards are met.
• Troubleshoot wrapping machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime and support continuous operations.
• Remove defective products from the production line.
• Review production orders and wrap products according to production requirements.
• Perform minor maintenance on wrapping equipment using hand tools.
• Tally and record production information including units wrapped product size weight type and line checks.
• Maintain a clean work area using approved cleaning chemicals.
• Collaborate with all departments to support production demand and maintain product quality standards.
• Report food safety concerns to personnel authorized to initiate corrective action.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Understanding of Safety Food Safety (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and machinery.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet walking around the facility climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting pushing or carrying materials.
